"Isn't this game basically a series of QTE's all strung together?
Wasn't one of the developers bragging at TGS about how Ninja Blade has significantly more QTE's than any game ever made?
I really hope this is something more than Dragon's Lair starring a ninja..."
"So let me make sure I've got this right:
Is it that Rich Asshole #1, who got rich making videogames, is mad at Rich Asshole #2, because he got rich selling Rich Asshole #1's videogames for him?
Or is Rich Asshole #2 mad because while he's gotten rich selling Rich Asshole #1's games for him, he just didn't get rich enough, so he decided it would be a good idea to also sell used copies of Rich Asshole #1's games so that he could truly become the Rich Asshole that he is, and that makes Rich Asshole #1 somehow madder and/or less rich?
Either way, it sounds to me like there are a lot of rich assholes in this business who like to bitch about being rich.
This clearly shows that games need to be more expensive than they already are."
"@Zootalor:
I'm able to live with the long travel times in the game, but I hear you...
They should have added NPC driven boats you could hire to fast travel from certain points on the river system, in addition to the busses.
It doesn't ruin the game for me, but I'm the kind of gamer who sinks 200 hours into Oblivion and never got sick of it, and I don't think there's a lot of shooter fans out there interested in Far Cry 2 who would say the same thing...
Buyer beware I guess!"
"Try again Ubi...
Let's see, $60 for Far Cry 2 gets me (what you claim is) 50 hours worth of single player campaign, a multi-player mode with a fully realized map editor, dozens of weapons to choose from and say, half-a-dozen or so vehicles to play with?
So how then do you guys come up with $10 for three weapons, three vehicles, and four more mp maps?
That's like 5% of the retail games content (which is being generous if you ask me), for, roughly 17.5% the price..."
